Volumetrics is #1 !!
Having taught in the fitness industry for many years I have seen diet fads come and go. Some hang on like a bad cold while others pop up and disappear seemingly overnight. While researching the Okinawa diet plan I stumbled across "Volumetrics: Feeling Full on Fewer Calories." Since I was already sold on the idea of calculating caloric density (aka: energy density) I bought the book hoping for some great recipes. I got a book with GREAT recipes, and moreover, I finally found an eating plan I'd recommend to students and clients. It only took me 15 years to find this gem! In a recent Consumer Reports article Volumetrics was listed as their #1 choice for fitness and weight loss! Weight Watcher's, another diet plan I like, came in 2nd. All this to say I highly recommend "Volumetrics: Feeling Full on Fewer Calories" by Barbara Rolls.
